When I visit Barbados I don’t have any connectivity other than when I can access our home wifi, which is a bit of a bind for someone who constantly uses social media. I will set up a plan when I move there, but what’s the solution in the meantime?
Trawling through blogs this morning I came across a post referencing free wifi hotspots across the island. Yay! Silicon Island has partnered with local businesses to help islanders stay connected. Here’s the article below, and ‘the list’ that they refer to is shown above. Check out there fb for more information.
CONNECT TODAY! – AUGUST 27TH, 2016
Here is a list of FREE Wi-Fi Hotspots to help you stay connected Barbados.
*PLEASE NOTE IF ANY CONNECTIONS ARE NOT ACCESSIBLE, LET US KNOW*
We have partnered up with businesses to offer you more access. Partners on location are recognised by the suffix ‘siliconisland’ or ‘Silicon Island’ in their Wi-Fi Network Name.
The suffix ‘siliconisland’ is also an indication that those partners with a secured Wi-Fi Network allow you to connect successfully with the password: ‘siliconisland’.
NB: Some Silicon Island Partners are in the process of switching over their Wi-Fi Network Password & Name in collaboration with Silicon Island.
